Julianne and Jim were married at The Red Barn at Outlook Farm in South Berwick, ME on May 17. The bride looked stunning in a lace fitted gown with an illusion bateau neckline with cap sleeves. She wore her hair in a low chignon and carried a light bouquet of ranunculus, sweet peas, Juliet garden roses, viburnum, lavender, sweet peas, herbs, silver dollar eucalyptus, dusty miller, spray roses, and silver brunia. Her ‘maids donned short strapless persimmon chiffon dresses, while the groom and his men looked dapper in gray suits. “The rain stopped completely and the sun came out to create a beautiful blue sky day,” Julianne said of the ceremony. “The sun even shined down on our outdoor ceremony.” The couple tied the knot in front of a gazebo adorned with silver dollar eucalyptus, coral red roses, and ivory astilbe. Friends and family members sat in white folding chairs with floral aisle markers made of a similar arrangement. After they exchanged vows, a reception was held in the barn on the property. “I wanted it to be relaxed, beautiful but look effortless,” Julianne said of the decor. The barn had hardwood floors and wooden panels. Guests sat at round tables with white linens and matching wooden chairs. “To break up the white color, I had my florist use beautiful bright flowers,” Julianne said. Guests danced the night away and enjoyed a mini buttercream cake at the end of the night. Julianne’s advice? “Don’t stress the small stuff!” See the full board here.
