Chelsy and Michael were married at The Foundry in New Orleans, La. on February 22. “We wanted a big, fun party that we just happened to get married at. Once we decided on New Orleans, we knew good music and good food were at the top of our must-have list,” Chelsy said. “When we toured The Foundry, it felt like a big bar that all our friends would love it!” The bride wore a sweetheart a-line wedding gown with a ruffled skirt, while the groom wore a gray three-piece suit, accessorized with a teal tie. Bridesmaids wore coral dresses on clearance from Anthropologie. A vintage screen served as the backdrop along with baby’s breath atop wine barrels during the ceremony. “We also kept it short, sweet and personal and it felt so wonderfully us – and got our guests to the fun part – cocktails and music – ASAP,” she said. Traditional cajun fare was served during the reception from crawfish etouffee to red beans and rice, plus a king cake with a plastic baby, of course! “Our band was absolutely amazing,” Chelsy said. “We have received more compliments on the music than anything else at the wedding. They had everyone on the dance floor and played such a fun variety of oldies and current songs.” See the full board here.
