Stephanie and Scott first met at a Nationals baseball game in Washington, D.C. Scott passed by and Stephanie whispered to her friend, “Oh, he looks like fun.” Scott overheard this, and a few moments later, waltzed over to Stephanie and said,“Hi, my name is Scott and I AM fun!” What are the odds? They were married on the front lawn of Bristow Manor Golf Club this spring, which was officiated by her brother, assisted by the bride’s childhood priest. “My brother definitely brought the house down during our ceremony – Scott and I couldn’t stop laughing,” Stephanie said. She wore a lace a-line wedding gown, accessorized with Scott’s name tape sewed on the hemline while her bridesmaids wore mix ‘n’ matched coral dresses. Besides designing the colorful invitations on recycled paper, Stephanie also designed all the signage at the reception, from the escort cards, signature cocktails, and guest book. Hydrangeas were the flowers of the day seen throughout the bouquets and centerpieces. In fact, the bride’s grandmother’s china was used too! The sweetest part? The homemade bottled vanilla favors.
